Traditions® RAM-T™ Rod elevates your muzzleloader!
The RAM-T™ Rod is telescopic and provides an additional 3.5” of length for loading or cleaning. Simply unlock with a quarter turn, extend, and then lock into place. A t-handle conveniently flips out for a more comfortable experience. When you are ready to put the rod back into the storage position, it easily retracts back into it’s body and stores in the thimbles. This improved design allows for a lighter rod and ability for a quicker follow up shot in the field. The RAM-T™ Rod is patent-pending and made of anodized aluminum, keeping the rod lightweight. It comes with a 10/32 brass loading tip and can be used for 45 or 50 caliber muzzleloaders.
This RAM-T™ Rod has a length of 24.5" when closed and 28" when fully extended. Fits Vortek StrikerFire® Models with a 28" barrel. Always be sure to measure your current ramrod or check to make sure this ramrod will fit your firearm.

This is probably old news to most of you guys but on the off chance this info might help someone else I will share it here. I recently received one of the old Traditions Vortek Ultra-Light .50 cal. muzzleloaders with a 28" barrel and a hammer instead of the new Striker Fire models. I ordered a Traditions Ram-T Rod for it that says it "Fits Vortek StrikerFire" with 28" barrel. The description of this rod says "This RAM-T™ Rod has a length of 24.5" when closed and 28" when fully extended. Fits Vortek StrikerFire® Models with a 28" barrel." I called Traditions to see if this rod would fit on my old hammer fired Vortek and the guy I spoke with wasn't sure, so I bought one anyway on the chance that it might fit on my old rifle. Well I am happy to announce that it does fit my old hammer fired Vortek just fine! I hope this helps someone who may be thinking of getting one of these totally cool Ram-T Rod's for their old Vortek too! Tomorrow I am going to call Traditions and suggest they update the description of this item to let customers know it will fit both the StrikerFire and the old hammer fired Vortek's.
