Customer Service Representative

Traditions Performance Firearms®, a leader in the outdoor industry, is a firearms importer and manufacturer that specializes in muzzleloaders, black powder revolvers, centerfire rifles, single action revolvers, cannons, build it yourself kits, bullets, accessories, optics, and more. Traditions® is known for quality, value, and performance and we build that into each one of our products. Traditions Performance Firearms is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team! 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive, place, and follow up on customer service calls.
  • Respond to customer emails.
  • Help to solve customer issues and provide the best solution possible.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing and availability.
  • Perform data entry including entering orders, RMAs, etc.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Assist customers in the retail store.
  • Become a product expert and understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Reports to the customer service manager and works within the customer service department team.


  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 1+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Desire to provide the best possible experience for our customers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with coaching support.
  • Dedicated to excellent attendance.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous knowledge of Sage Software (MAS) is a plus for the position.
  • Must be familiar with firearms and have successfully completed a firearms safety training course.
