The Outfitter

Traditions has addressed the need to offer a gun structure that allows its owner the capability to change from a muzzleloader, to centerfire, to a shotgun. Traditions structured the production of the Outfitter around the break open design of the Pursuit. The Outfitter will easily change between muzzleloading , centerfire and shotgun within minutes- keeping the tone of Traditions "easy to use, easy to clean, easy to shoot" intact. This platform gun uses a true drop in design that requires no factory fitting for replacement barrels.

The 24" Wilson rifled barrels (made in the USA) are already drilled and tapped for a scope; also, the 28" muzzleloading barrel is fluted, ported and contains a quick release breech plug and Tru-Glo fiber optic sights. It is available in standard and thumbhole stocks and has the same soft touch camo as the Pursuit XLT. The Outfitter also incorporates a new Traditions safety feature- if the action is not locked all the way, the hammer will not cock. Every gun has dual safeties.
